GRI Classroom Instruction

Students earn GRI Designation + Michigan Broker Prelicensing






1.) Complete GRI-1 (30 Hours - Presented by one of Michigan Realtors® GRI Certified Instructors)



The Michigan Graduate, Realtor® Institute I (GRI I) course provides comprehensive coverage of the topics required for prospective Michigan GRI Certification as well as Michigan Broker prelicensing education. The content meets the 30-hour prelicensing curriculum requirements as set forth by the State of Michigan. The course covers topic areas such as state and federal laws, agency, broker-agent relationships, contract law, deeds, finance, appraisal,and real estate closings.

2.) Complete GRI-2 (30 Hours - Presented by one of Michigan Realtors ® GRI Certified Instructors)



The Michigan Graduate, Realtor® Institute II (GRI II) course provides comprehensive coverage of the topics required for prospective Michigan GRI Certification as well as Michigan Broker prelicensing education.The content meets the 30-hour prelicensing curriculum requirements as set forth by the State of Michigan, including three hours on civil rights and fair housing. The course covers topic areas such as business considerations, broker compensation and commissions,civil litigation, effective communication and property management.

3.) Complete GRI-3 Broker Preparation Course (30 Hours - Presented by CEMIWAY, a division of Michigan Realtors®)



Michigan Realtors® has completely revamped the GRI program for 2020 and GRI-III is no exception. GRI-III contains 30+ hours of brand new content (1 hour fair housing/civil rights). Topics include Real Estate contracts, market economics, finance, investment, taxation, licensing & regulation and include other helpful topics including social media policy, non-compete agreements, and Michigan Advertising Law.
