Carrie Vos

Realtor – Team Vos – Midwest Properties ERA Powered

Hello, my name is Carrie Vos & I am humbled to be a candidate for At-Large NAR Director & excited for the opportunity. I have been a Realtor in West Michigan for over 17 years. I believe in strong leadership and having the ability to represent our Realtor members. We are all in this together and I feel a responsibility to help have every voice heard. My business career started with a Bachelor's in Accounting from Davenport University. I worked over 20 years as a Controller in the Automotive Industry. (so, you know I take really good care of details). My passion may be Real Estate, but I strongly believe in giving back & serving my community and local Real Estate Board. A few years ago, my Broker saw something in me & encouraged me to run for our local Board of Directors. I successfully ran and cannot begin to express what serving on the Board has meant to me personally & professionally.

I am proud & honored to currently serve on: Director on the Greater Regional Alliance of Realtors (GRAR) Board of Directors, Treasurer – GRAR 2020, MLS Exchange Board of Directors, Chairperson Finance Committee, Director Liaison for the 2020 #Hackathon Committee, Michigan Realtors Leadership Academy Class of 2020-2021 and NAR Resort & Second Home Committee.

I am also a Graduate of the GRAR Leadership Academy and have served on several GRAR Committees over the years. In addition, I love to support local charities that support our communities, many national charities and a Sterling R RPAC Investor.

As a Board we have faced unique challenges this year with Covid-19 and have made tough decisions. I feel that my Board successfully led our membership through this difficult time with great solutions while promoting the State of Michigan guidelines, Michigan Realtors & NAR guidelines. While we don’t know what 2021 will bring us, I am inspired by the perseverance of our members in 2020 and I hope to be part of the team leading NAR, to be part of the solution, to be the example & successfully represent my fellow Realtors in 2021. I look forward to continuing to serve locally with GRAR, MR & NAR. It would truly be an honor to be considered for the NAR Board & I greatly appreciation the opportunity to serve. Respectfully, Carrie Vos, Realtor & hopeful NAR Director

Endorsements:

Good afternoon, This letter serves as our personal endorsement of Carrie Vos’ application for an At-Large Director position on the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS representing Michigan. Carrie has held membership in the Greater Regional Alliance of REALTORS (GRAR) for 17 years. During that time, she has helped countless consumers achieve the dream of homeownership and will be the first to say that her clients often become friends and are the source of referrals and repeat business. This speaks to her high level of integrity and focus on customer service. In addition to running a very busy and successful real estate business, she has a passion for volunteerism and has served on many GRAR committees and task forces over the years. She is a graduate of the GRAR Leadership Academy and currently serves as an elected member of the Board of Directors. This year she was also elected by her fellow Directors to the office of Treasurer, a position for which she is well-qualified as she holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Should Carrie serve as a NAR Director, we know that her fellow Directors will appreciate her knowledge, passion for our industry, and open mind. She also has a wonderful sense of humor and a positivity that is contagious. Sincerely, Julie Reitberg, CEO of the Greater Regional Alliance of REALTORS (GRAR) & Pamela VanLuven, GRAR Sr. Vice President

“I am fully endorsing Carrier Vos for NAR director. She is the epitome of a Realtor. Carrie has served on the board of directors at the Greater Regional alliance of realtors for the past 3 years and has been leading the charge for realtor issues. Please consider her as I can’t think of anyone more engaged in her career and the Realtor Brand. “Michael Childress, GRAR 2020 President

"I've worked with Carrie on committees and the board of directors with our local real estate association. She is truly commitment and hard-working with any project she takes on. Carrie offers great insight and questions during our discussions that can range from easy to challenging topics. She has tenacity that does not waiver yet with a smile each time I've worked with her. Carrie would be a top choice for NAR Director." Jodi Smith, GRAR 2021 President Elect

“I endorse Carrie for NAR Director because she is a hard worker, is very involved in industry issues locally, and will do a great job as a NAR director. “ Kris Keegstra GRAR 2019 President

Carrie is experienced and successful. I have been her supervising broker for over 8 years, and she is routinely a top producing agent in our company. She receives positive reviews from her clients and colleagues. She is a leader. In a company of 70 + agents, she is respectful and is an influencer. While managing a team of several agents of her own, she is always encouraging others to raise the bar and execute a higher vision. She is insightful. I served with Carrie on the Greater Regional Alliance of Realtors Board of Directors for 2 years. She spoke when she had something relevant to say, and it was to the point. Her comments showed that she was always prepared. Carrie cares. She consistently champions actions which benefits others. She is an ideal team member with a positive attitude and always willing to help others whether it be personal or real estate related. Tom Kuiper – Broker/Owner past GRAR Director

“As one of Carrie’s Brokers I can truly say she is one of the most honest, ethical & hard-working Realtors that I have had the pleasure of working with over the past 29 years. She works diligently to better our Realtor community though her professional service to her clients & through her involvement in the Association. I strongly believe that Carrie would be a huge asset as a NAR Director.” Rick Reardon President/CEO Reardon Realty
