Marie Gamber

Marie has been a full-time licensed REALTOR® since 1988, a member of the Down River Association of REALTORS® since 1988, and a member of the Monroe County Association of REALTORS® since 1994. She served as a DRAR director from 1999 to 2001, as well as on many committees as both member and chairperson. Marie is currently a MLS chairperson. She served as a Monroe County director from 1998 to 2001, 2002 president-elect, 2002 MLS president, 2003 president and 2004 director. In 2006, Marie was appointed to the National Professional Standards Committee for a 3 year term, as the Michigan representative. She has also served on the Michigan Women’s Council of REALTORS® as 1999 Correspondence Secretary, 2000 Recording Secretary, 2002 Vice President and 2003 President Elect and has been on many committees, including By-Laws, Hospitality, Education and Ways and Means. Marie received her associate broker’s license in 1992, her ABR designation in 2000, her LTG designation in 2001 and is a graduate of Flying Tigers, Floyd Wickman’s Sweathog program, Master Sales Academy and she continues to attend ongoing educational opportunities. She is a past owner of a real estate company and is currently the associate broker/office manager of the Coldwell Banker Haynes Real Estate, Inc., Brownstown office. She is married to Dan and has 2 children, 4 step-children and is “Mimi” to many little ones. Marie enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, and traveling. She also collects cookbooks and Santas.
