North Oakland County Board of REALTORS® Hosts Annual Fair Housing Luncheon |

The Education/Cultural Diversity Committee and the Women’s Council North Oakland Chapter hosted their annual fair housing luncheon on Friday, April 16th at the NOCBOR offices. Approximately 60 REALTORS® were in attendance to hear REALTOR® guest speaker, Alex Chaparro of The Gonzales Group, facilitate a discussion on cultural courtesies. Alex is the Chairman of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and the 2006 President of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®. The discussion highlighted understanding cultural differences and how to respectfullywork withdifferent cultures when conducting a real estate transaction.
