Go Grand with Knowledge is back for a fourth year! Enjoy attending a CE course while staying at the beautiful Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island August 28-29, 2013. You can plan for your arrival on Wednesday, August 28 and join us for a reception in The Cupola Bar 5th floor at 6:30 pm with dinner on your own. The Cupola Bar is at the very top of Grand Hotel offers a panoramic view of the Straits of Mackinac and the Mackinac Bridge. Thursday you can enjoy breakfast in the main dining room followed by two hours of CE taught by Karen Ryan from 9-11 am. The package price for the night of August 28 is $289.00++/double occupancy. Additional night’s stay are at a rate of $229.00++/double occupancy.

 Karen L. Ryan has been a Tax Consultant for the past 25 years. She received a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University. Through continuing education she has earned several professional credentials including, NTPI Fellow, Real Estate Broker (Michigan), ePro, & SFR. As an Enrolled Agent she is authorized to represent taxpayers in all 50 States. She is a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute which focuses soley on Tax Representation. She is also a member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers. Karen is a member of The National Association of Tax Professionals, the National Association of Enrolled Agents, National Association of REALTORS, the Livingston County Association of REALTORS and the Womens Council of REALTORS. She is also an instructor for the National Association of Enrolled Agents - Michigan Chapter and teaches on a variety of subjects including Foreclosure & Cancellation of Debt, 1031 exchanges and the Paperless Office.

What is Pro Standards Training? Professional Standards Workshops are dues funded programs to educate members in the areas of grievance, ethics, arbitration and the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. If you serve on a Grievance Committee, Professional Standards Committee or are a Board of Directors member at the local or state level you may be required to take this course. This course is open to all members.
What Makes REALTORS® Better Than the Rest? – Professional Standards Training. MAR offers statewide training sessions for REALTORS® and a variety of resources in the Professional Standards Online Toolbox. Pro Standards are dues funded and registration is complimentary for this member only program.
