My name is Gary B. Bailey, Sr., and I've been a lifelong resident of the State of Michigan. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Gail, for 24 years, and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I have been in the Real Estate industry since 2000 and have been the Broker/Owner of Crossroads Realty of Michigan since 2003. I enjoy golfing, hunting, snowmobiling and spending any spare time with my family and friends.
I have been a part of the West Central Association of Realtors, MAR, and NAR since 2000 and have been on several committees. They include the Finance Committee, MLS Committee (where I was Chairperson for 5 years), and the Publications Committee. From 2002 to 2006, I was a member of the Board of Directors, and in 2006 I was elected Vice President of our association. I would like join in on the State level with MAR to work for all the Realtors of the state to make sure our profession has a voice in Lansing. We need to work on making our jobs as Realtors less time-consuming, and streamline some of the steps to help clean up the overstock of foreclosures we have in our state to help bring us back from the recession we are in. I know that I can help in that process. This is why I have decided to run as a MAR Director; to help iron out some of the rough spots ahead of us.
