Rick Loose has been a Realtor® with Ayre Rhinehart Realtors in the Midland Board of Realtors since 2001. He began his involvement in Board activities as soon as he was eligible and served on numerous committees before his election to the Board as a Director in 2005. He was elected Secretary/Treasurer in 2006 and moved up the chain culminating as President in 2008. Rick helped guide the MBOR through some rocky times financially and they currently find themselves a very strong and stable organization. Rick was selected by his peers as the 2009 Midland Board of Realtors “Realtor of the Year”. He currently serves as Chairman of The Midland City Housing Commission and as it’s liaison to The Fair Housing Advisory Council. He credits his past attendance at The MAR Land Use Academy with providing background knowledge for use in addressing many of the city’s housing issues.
“I have a very inquisitive mind and like to stay up on the issues affecting our industry. I want to be involved and be an agent for change where it is necessary. I feel that I have strong communication skills and traditionally find myself bringing people with opposing viewpoints together so they may hopefully come to a meeting of the minds. If elected I promise to carry out the duties of the District 4 Director with enthusiasm and energy. I look forward to the opportunity to serve our membership as the MAR District 4 Director.”
