What are the registration fees?
All registration fees, and deadlines are listed on the
Registration/Fees page. Early bird rates end September 10, 2009.
How do I secure my hotel room?
Visit the
Hotel Information page, and click on "
Reserve Your Room Online". If you prefer to reserve your room by phone, call 800.236.1577 and ask for the Michigan Association of REALTORS® group rate.
Does my spouse/guest pay the same registration fee?Yes, and in doing so they are entitled to participate in all convention events. If they are only attending the social events and are not in the real estate industry they can attend at the guest rate of $85.00

How do I register once at the Grand Traverse Resort?Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by the Convention Registration Staff at the convention registration desk where you will be given your badge holder, program and other important convention materials. Admission to ALL convention functions is by your name badge ONLY and WILL be monitored. Registration is required to attend any and all events. Badges are not transferable.
What does the registration fee include?
The full registration fee will include all convention program activities with the exception of recreational activities. Yes, this includes welcoming reception, the Expo, knowledge sessions, Grand Assembly, coffee breaks, lunch in the Expo on Thursday, Happy Hour in the Expo, REALTOR® Royale and many opportunities for networking. The daily registration includes only that entire day's activities, except for optional events.
Do you have a convention schedule?

Education & Events page, where you can find a schedule of events, speaker information, knowledge session descriptions, and special event information.
Where do the events take place?
All MAR events are held on Grand Traverse Resort property. Specific room locations will be posted in the program book on site.
What are the refund and cancellation policies?
Full refunds are granted if requests are received prior to September 14. There is a $20 administrative fee for cancellations on or after September 14. No refunds will be given after October 1, 2009. *The introductory rate for first-time attendees will be verified from past convention attendance records. If attended previously, full rate applies. First timer rate is nonrefundable and nontransferrable.
I can't come to the convention after all. Can someone else in my office use my registration?
Transfer of registration is allowed under certain circumstance. Please contact MAR if you need to make a request for a transfer.
What is the attire?
Enjoy the convention in business casual attire. Remember meeting space can vary in tempature so dress in layers for optimal comfort. Pack your comfortable shoes, the resort is also large and there is a fair amount of walking.
