Bob has been an active full-time REALTOR since 1974.
His commitment to the REALTOR membership has found him serving on no less than two association committees every year since 1975. Over these 36 years that includes most any committee you can think of plus a taskforce or two.
Bob served the Michigan Association of REALTORS as President in 2010 however his involvement at the state level goes back to 1985. His efforts at the state level include a variety of responsibilities and tasks. His work for the members of the MAR has continued beyond 2010 as he works this year on your behalf with Midwest AMG.
Bob has been active at the national level attending his first NAR Convention in 1994. He served on the NAR Professional Standards Committee and the NAR Business Issues Committee. He has been on the NAR Research Committee beginning in 2001 and is the currently Vice-chair. Bob will Chair the NAR Research Committee in 2012.
Bob’s understanding regarding changes impacting the appraisal industry in early 2009 resulted in a Presidential appointment to the NAR HVCC Workgroup in 2009 and is currently serving on the Valuation Workgroup at the NAR. Bob has also been appointed to the NAR Appraisal Committee in 2012 as a result of his contribution on valuation issues.
Representing the membership has been a life-long commitment Bob would like to continue. His involvement in important issues at critical points in time, whether at the local, state or national level, has been a trademark of his throughout his years of service. Bob is hopeful of being able to continue is work on your behalf as the work to stabilize our industry continues.
