Dr. Jerry V. Teplitz' background is as unique as the techniques and approaches he teaches. He is a graduate of Hunter College and Northwestern University School of Law. He practiced as an attorney for the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. At that point, Jerry's career took a dramatic change of direction. Jerry studied and received a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Wholistic Health Sciences. Additionally, he was on the faculty of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management for eight years. Dr. Teplitz has been a field manager for Inscape Publishing Company since 1979 and President of his own speaking and consulting firm since 1974.

Rob Campau is a veteran lobbyist who joined the Michigan Association of REALTORS® in February of 1996.Prior to joining MAR, he was Director of Environmental Affairs for the Michigan Manufacturers Association. Rob received a BA in communications from Michigan State University and Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he attended nights while working as a Legislative Assistant in the State House of Representatives. His responsibilities at MAR include working with the Michigan legislature and regulatory agencies, MAR’s legal advocacy programs, support for political involvement, RPAC and other Public Policy Department Programs.

Bill D. Johnston President and chairman of Greenleaf Companies (inclusive of Greenleaf Trust; Greenleaf Ventures, Inc.; Greenleaf Holdings, LLC; and Greenleaf Capital, Inc.), Bill is also chairman of Southwest Michigan First Economic Development Corporation; chairman of the board/director of SofTech, Inc.; director of Special-Lite Corporation; and chairman of the Western Michigan University Foundation.

He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Michigan University. Bill and his wife Ronda reside in Portage, Michigan with their three children.

Tom Kotzian is an experienced manager with an extensive background in real estate. Tom is a certified instructor and administrator in professional standards for the National Association of Realtors. Tom is a past-president of the Metropolitan Consolidated Association of Realtors, Realtor-of-the-Year and past Chairman of the State of Michigan Board of Real Estate Brokers & Salespersons. He was also the Birmingham-Bloomfield WCR Member-of-the-Year.

Greg McClelland acts as primary outside general counsel to the Michigan Association of REALTORS®, and as counsel for numerous local REALTOR® Boards and Associations. He authors a regular article in the Michigan REALTOR® and the Michigan Home Builders’ Association News and has acted as litigation counsel for associations, developers, general contractors, owners, and businesses for the past 20 years in bankruptcy, state, and federal courts and has testified as an expert witness with respect to real estate and business practices and litigation. Mr. McClelland received his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Illinois in 1978 and served in the United States Marine Corp from 1969 to 1972.

Mr. Wooten’s experience consists of education and training in crime prevention and security management that has earned him many professional certifications in his field. He is considered to be an expert in the fields of safety and security, crime and loss prevention, and specializes in the anticipation, recognition, and prevention of crime on most property types. Andrew’s philosophy is “A person’s best weapon is themselves: their mind, voice, and body”.
