Leading the way is MAR member, Pat Vredevoogd of Grand Rapids who currently serves as president-elect at NAR. Also serving NAR is current MAR President, Cathy Sherman Bittrick, of Grand Rapids as chair of the State Leadership Forum. Walt Baczkowski of MCAR serves as vice chair of the Association Executives Committee as well as the AEC Recommendations and Recognition Subcommittee, on which MAR CEO Bill Martin serves as chair. Joe Banyai of CBOR is on NAR’s Executive Committee as the Region 6 vice president, and Scott Griffith of the Livingston County Association serves as the vice chair of the Research Committee. Carol Frick of MCAR is the vice chair for both the Public Advocacy Advisory Group and the RPAC Trustees Committee.
“These are all volunteer positions at NAR that are held by Michigan members and staff who care deeply about the issues that affect Michigan REALTORS®. They will make sure Michigan is well represented,” said MAR CEO Bill Martin. “MAR will continue to work diligently to ensure we have representation each year at the national level.” |
