Jack Miedema is President of Great Lakes Realty Systems, Inc., a provider of real estate and appraisal training, course development, and educational consulting.

He is a 28-year member of the Grand Rapids Association of REALTORS®, past President, and recipient of its REALTOR®-of-the-Year award. He is also a recipient of the Instructor-of-the-Year award from the Michigan Association of REALTORS®.

Jack has an undergraduate degree in economics and business administration. Besides the GRI and CRB designations, he has been awarded the DREI (Distinguished Real Estate Instructor) designation by the Real Estate Educators Association and the ITI (Instructor Training Institute-Certified) designation by the Instructor Training Institute. In Michigan, he is licensed as a real estate broker, state-licensed appraiser, and residential builder.
